The installation at 250 Bishopsgate in London was completed in April 2006. The system, installed in the live data centre, comprises of two (N+N) chilled water (6/12oC) cooled CO₂ plant (CO₂OLpac^™) both running at 50% duty, stainless steel secondary CO₂ distribution pipework, gas detection/isolation and cabinet coolers type CO₂OLrac^™. The system provides 300kW of cooling, via 15off 20kW CO₂OLrac^™ units.

The units were supplied as a customised solution to suit the bank’s existing 600mm x 42U high cabinets; providing full access to the rear of the server cabinets.

The high capacity solution will provide cooling for the latest in server technology – Blade Servers.
